STATEMENT FROM THE DIRECTOR

The Consultancy and Training Centre (CTC) is in the process of building capacity, transforming skills and talent into tangible and practical experience through its commitment to excellence, regardless of the challenging global economic situation. Therefore, investing on existing human capital and diverse expertise internally and externally will help shape public policy decisions; evolve people’s mind-set for an effective and faster growing economy locally and the world over. CTC is the centre for opportunity: opportunity dances with those who are already on the dance floor.

The vision of the University of Swaziland is Leadership through excellence in Education. The Centre contributes towards meeting the vision by creating leaders in society who are expected to solve new problems, capitalize on new opportunities in a diverse and changing environment and to become good mentors for posterity. As Leaders we are challenged to move with the tide but, be grounded and wise in our decisions. Be rooted in the knowledge of our context while being authentic to our values and self-driven to engage in strong learning networks from peers locally and abroad through skills transfer, learning and sharing.
